Picture the scene, it's April 1994. A hot, raring cast get ready to give 'em the Old Razzle Dazzle. Then suddenly as the lights go down...

It's cheesy Musical time again, straight in with those specially choreographed routines, arms, legs, hips, feet, here, there & everywhere. Then over the raucous approval of the audience, comes the sweet sounds of the band.

Enter Foxy Roxy Hart, Enter Fred Caseley/ Exit Fred Caseley, cue the downtrodden Amos, the mysterious Velma Kelly, the debonair and dashing mime artist extroardinaire, Billy Flynn. Some cool convicted female felons, some equally cool & excited reporters, not forgetting of course Mary 'I'm really a bloke' Sunshine.

So what was it all about? Come to think of it what were any of those musicals about? Who knows, yet graciously and tounge in cheek we attacked them all with enthusiasm and vigour. They may well have been a pile of tripe but it didn't matter. Just as long as we enjoyed ourselves the audience would surely follow. That was the ethos... and as Billy Flynn himself once put it, 'Give 'em the old Razzle Dazzle, Razzle dum de dum, diddle, nyiddle, 'em.
