A LOOK AT THE SOMETIMES BIZZARE AND ALWAYS TWISTED ACTIVITIES OF THE CURRENT DAY UHDS

  • Panto 1995

This years Panto revels in the subtle title of "Jack and His Big Stalk" Full of the usual cack it opens on the 28th of November and runs for three nights.

  • Hatter's effort.

The society has agreed to support a production of "An Inspector Calls" Mike Crane has been a driving force in following the success of "The Importance of Being Earnest" with more traditional Drama. Si Bennett is slated to direct and many other Mad-Hats are keen to take a part. Expect a great production.

  • Deja Audrey Two

Now that all those who were involved in 1991's seminal "Little Shop of Horrors" have flown the Hatfield nest the coast is clear for a revival. Chris Hanham and Simon Bennett have come clean that this was the reason for their dental chair acquisition trip reported last issue. The pair have been accepted by the current tech crew as set design consultants. Wheels are already rolling on this production which the society will bring to the Prince Edward stage in April.

  • Shock Resignation

Badger has resigned as society president. This move was prompted by his inability to attend enough society meetings due to course commitments. Sources close to the friendly hedgerow mammal report that he said "I want to keep my friends in the society" Rest assured that he has. His guiding snout will be missed.

  • Chris Redux

Having narrowly lost the post to Badger last year a certain Chris Evans has won the presidency in an uncontested election. We all wish him all the success in the job which veteran Simon Hopes described as "a piece of piss".
