Jet-setting Multi-millionaire Executive, Neil Pennock, is flying home for Christmas. In a surprise purchase, Mr Pennock has put in a bid for the British Isles. Tony Blair is reportedly very pleased with the intended move, by the Pennock Foundation, saying that the upkeep of Britain has been a great burden on the tax payer for many 100s of years.

The deal is likely to go through by mid December 1997. Mr Pennock intends to post eviction notices to the entire population of Britain - Everyone must be out of the country by 12 noon on December 24th 1997.

The Pennock Foundation, based at The Ash Tree House Care In The Community Centre in St Albans, will be converting Britain into a 14 billion bedroom town house for sale to the highest bidder. With several successful conversions already under their belt, such as the Nicaraguan end-terrace con-version of 1995, the foundation is looking forward to a new year of healthy profits.

The European Community has commented on the imminent sale as reckless and is deeply concerned of it's implications. Plans to dig large pits in Brittany to bury incoming refugees, have been put forward to the European Commision For Less Britains In Europe by the French government.

Other Emergency measures are being investigated. The German government is looking at the possibility of adopting Bruce Forsythe as a national mascot to deter British imigrants. "Nice to see, to see you, NICHT!"

Copycat jestures are being implimented throughout the European Community, Luxemburg taking lead - the government has now introduced the death penalty for, treason, murder, and being British.

It is hoped the Community will ride this British wave of catastrophe, and come out largely unscathed into a new Britainless Europe, with a prosperous future ahead of it.
