UAC TO PREMIERE NEW FILM
Posted at 4:38 pm on 9/1/98
The UAC Film Company is to release its third film early in 1998. Lasting approximately 20 minutes in duration, 'Painted Man' is described as an 'intense psychological thriller' and hopes to put the UAC firmly on the map as a serious independent film production company.

Madhatters Simon Hopes, Phil Miller, Gary Stevenson, Jolyon Hennings and Toni Matthews are amongst the 40 strong cast and crew. 'Smokin' Zone' frontman Steve French also makes his debut performance, proving once again that rap stars always make good actors!

Painted Man will premiere early in the new year at a private function, and a limited number of tickets will be available to Madhatters. The event will also see the launch of the new film from Simon Bennett entitled 'A Piece of Wood'.

'Friday Knight, our last project, was designed as an intensive way of learning about film production. Painted Man is very much taking this knowledge and using it to produce a high quality show piece for both the UAC and the talents of all the cast and crew involved,' described founder of the UAC, Simon Hopes.
